Basten was not a very patient person at all. He didn’t like waiting for things, and he certainly didn’t like waiting for people to get out of his territory. He had a small little living space in one of the allies he had found, and currently there were people in it. The NEKO growled low under his breath, his white puffy ears moving up atop his head. He didn’t like when other NEKO snooped round his area. Yeah, it was small, and it was ratty; but it was still home. He had a small love seat in the corner of the alley, and on the side was a dumpster that he cleaned out and kept most of his valuable things in. It had a lock on it, so now one ever really touched it, but he didn’t like it when people were around it. Finally, when he heard scratching at the dumpster, he snapped.
“Hey! Ass holes! Why don’t you go someplace else where your rancid stench is more welcomed huh?” His tone was laced with careful venom as the three NEKO turned around to face him. One was a girl who looked as if she had been forced to come here, and the other two were old, ratty looking males. And by old, he meant they had to be in their twenties at least. He glared at them, before walking up towards them. Basten smiled as the girl retreated, turning onto all fours and climbing up a nearby wall. One of the other males turned and called out a name Basten failed to hear, before running after her. He imagined it was his mate of some sort. Anyway, he turned back to the last male before hearing a snarl emit from him, and then some not so pleasant choice words. Basten laughed in response, bringing his thumb to his mouth before piercing a hole in it with his teeth. He glared at the male before letting his hand lash out, the blood moving as if a whip and surrounding the male. With a flick of his wrist, the other NEKO was smashed abruptly into the wall, creating a large indent within the stone.
“Ready to go now?” Basten saw the NEKO nod furiously after a few more tosses around, before biting the string of blood off and watching the other feline scurry away as the blood whip fell into actual blood on the pavement.
Basten hated people.

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) It wasn't a surprise to see the man roaming the labyrinth of alleyways of the city- even at night. The darkness welcomed him like open arms, enveloping him in warmth and shutting him out from the pain and horror he had suffered throughout his life. It was an escape from his life. He'd be able to think and speak as he pleased- and do what ever he wanted to when he wanted to do it. Ever so often, his eyes would shift, glancing behind him, next to him... anywhere close to him. Even the slightest noise made him alert. All he wanted or needed was to get attacked by some deranged animal- or a human. NEKOs really didn't frighten him- they were just cats in his mind. Harmless, apart from a few scratches here or there. They were big cats that needed to be tamed and kept in check.
He let out a sigh, rolling his neck and lighting a cigarette. It was just another night. Another night he had to fight through and hope that he'd be able to do something entertaining for once. At the moment, he just wished he could find someone to talk to- or something to harass.
And it seemed as if his wish came true.
Just down the alley he heard a loud string of insults as well as a command. At first- he thought whomever was yelling was yelling at him. But as his eyes snapped towards the area, he realized that it was a group of NEKO exchanging insults. A grin slipped onto his lips with ease. One of them seemed pretty strong, easily dismissing two of the others, and slamming the last into the wall with whatever mutation he was given. Though, Andre didn't really didn't go into thinking the NEKO could do the same thing to him. He was better than all of them, right? He would easily be able to overpower the... animal and put it in it's rightful place.
Although... it was half human, so that meant it had feelings, right? He'd be able to put it on its back with mere words- if selected correctly. So with that, he allowed a small smirk to appear on his lips and he put his cancer stick out, pushing himself off the wall and sauntering over. He let the smirk stay on his lips in an almost teasing way. “Well, hello there, Kitten.”
Oh how he begged this would be entertaining.

Basten had no patience when it came to people. He didn’t want to deal with anyone today, and certainly not a human. He could smell the man from nearly a mile away, and it reeked of smoke. It was repulsive. Then he could hear him. Oh how he hated his advanced senses sometimes. It was terrible how bad humans smelled sometimes. It was just disgusting. Haven’t any of them heard of a shower? C’mon, Basten was a stray and he still smelled and appeared better than half of the humans. He couldn’t help but let a glare cut into the NEKO in front of him before he scurried away, leaving Basten in the alley with this…this monstrosity of a human. He turned placing his hands on his chest and glared at him a little.
“Oh, well hi, filthy mut.” Basten despised when it when people talked down to him, and right now, Kitten? Oh, was that talking down. The ice NEKO could almost feel his anger boiling inside of him for the human in front of him. Who did these humans think they were? Messing around with NEKO- who I may remind you, are still people- like it was nothing? Did they have no shame? No sanity? It was preposterous to him sometimes how NEKO were treated. Experimented on. Abused. Hated. Killed. He would never allow himself to be that way. He would never let himself be dominated by such…such a repulsive being such as the one before him. He tossed his head to the side a little, getting the hair out of his face before speaking up once more.
“What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be out spreading disease like all dogs do?” The boy couldn’t help but grin at the way his insult seemed to be laced with such a venom, that it told the guy in front of him not to mess with him. His white tail was hanging delicately behind him, next to his right leg, and his white ears were puffed out over his hair. His shirt clung nicely to his body and just seemed to accentuate the well-defined muscles underneath it from years and years of running and getting stronger. He was the weaker one in societies eyes, and he would be damned if he let himself be shown up by such…such a moron like this guy. His eyes stayed narrow, watching his every move; his every flinch.
Basten was ready to strike at any moment if deemed necessary.
